About the Platform
SCAP AI Interactive Monitoring and Evaluation System
The Serbia Competitive Agriculture Project (SCAP) is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management with the support of the World Bank, aiming to strengthen the competitiveness and sustainability of domestic agriculture.
One of the key steps in system modernization is the development of the Interactive Monitoring and Engagement System (SCAP AI System) – a unique digital platform that makes all data on projects, beneficiaries, investments, and results available in one place, clearly, transparently, and in real time.
This system uses artificial intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and data visualization tools to improve project monitoring and facilitate communication with the public.
In an intuitive and accessible way, everyone — from farmers and advisors to journalists or citizens — can obtain accurate and up-to-date information about how funds are used, what results have been achieved, and where the greatest impacts have occurred.
How the System Works
- AI-based Virtual Assistant – an intelligent chatbot that understands user questions and provides instant answers about SCAP projects, activities, beneficiaries, investments, and results.
- Interactive Maps and Charts – visual displays showing agricultural development by region, activity type, or target group.
- Smart Reports and Analytics – automatically generated reports upon user request, downloadable in multiple formats (PDF, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Secure Data Access – all data are protected with advanced security protocols and multi-level access controls.
- Notification System – personalized alerts on new activities, results, and project updates.
This system is designed to be fully bilingual (Serbian and English), optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop use, and accessible to users with varying levels of digital skills.
What the System Brings
- Transparency – the public can see exactly where and how funds are invested.
- Faster Decisions – institutions gain access to real-time indicators and can act promptly.
- Citizen Engagement – farmers and partners can actively follow and understand project implementation.
- Digital Transformation – AI technology increases efficiency and trust in public programs.
- Accountability and Trust – the system removes ambiguity and strengthens the credibility of public institutions.
